Making a trade with a famous artist. Haul to come.

Well as many of you know I am a Kubrick addict. One of my contacts in Japan from jedidefender.com just hooked me up with 2 Droids R2-D2 Kubrick's for a very nice price. For those that don't know this is a blister carded Kubrick limited to 2004 pieces worldwide. So I am soon to be the proud owner of a Droids R2 Kubrick. So what am I doing with the second one? Over the weekend Medicom had a show in Japan and released an extremely limited (less than 500 pieces) black pauldron carded Sandtrooper Kubrick. There was no way in hell I was going to be able to obtain one of these. So I thought. However, Frank Kozik was able to attend the show in Japan and got a few of the Sandtrooper's. He was willing to trade one for a carded Droids R2 and so I contacted him. I just got email confirmation that he will definitely make the trade as soon as I get the R2's. So I just scored two of the most desirable Kubrick pieces in one day and got to talk to one of my favoirte modern artists in the process. A very good day so far. Sweet. I dig the sandtrooper.

And you could have saved the trouble for the r2 by simply getting the vintage driod r2. They are the same thing. [img]biggrin.gif[/img] [img]wink.gif[/img] [img]tongue.gif[/img]
